Senior Architect, SharePoint

The target hiring range for this position is $106,675.00-$116,087.50.

Position Summary:

The SharePoint Architect will lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, customization, and integration with other business systems, as well as a strong ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to align SharePoint solutions with business needs.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement SharePoint architectures that align with organizational needs and goals.
  • Develop scalable and sustainable solutions using SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Premises, and hybrid configurations.
  • Define governance, security, and compliance frameworks for SharePoint implementations.

Development and Customization:

  • Lead the development of custom SharePoint solutions, including web parts, workflows, and forms.
  • Integrate SharePoint with third-party tools, applications, and services such as Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and custom APIs.

Administration and Optimization:

  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint environments.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize SharePoint functionality for users.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with business units to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and administrators to maximize adoption and efficiency.

Documentation and Standards:

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and operational guidelines.
  • Establish best practices for SharePoint usage, development, and administration.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Architect or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Strong expertise in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with SharePoint migration tools (e.g., Sharegate, Metalogix) and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, and security models.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Microsoft SharePoint or related Microsoft technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in hybrid SharePoint implementations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
